to Order: The

BUSINESS Minutes: Motion to
approve the
Treasurer’s Report: Report given by Jim Poe: Beginning balance $4,745.83, Expenses: $62.70 for BBQ at Leddington’s, $750.00 for Christmas Party Raffle gifts. Ending account balance=$3,933.13 Secretary: Shannon Anderson – Roster was circulated to circle your name for club attendance. If your name isn’t circled you won’t be noted in attendance in the minutes.
Clothing: Anne Jones – We have a new printer: ASI. There was no start up fee and we have a short sleeved shirt back. See Anne for orders. Webmaster: Pete Ruff - Nothing to report. Historian: Not present to report Club Officer Vote: Be sure to fill out a ballot and vote. Ballots to Shannon Anderson. The announcement of new officers will be made at the Christmas Party on December 9th. October 27-29, 2006: Central Coast run, Morro Bay, CA – (George Goolsby & Barbara Rogers) There were originally 4 cars attending this and 2 cars backed out at the last minute. The Grubes went along with George and Barbara. They had a great time going up the coast. October 28, 2006: Chrome Bumper Corvette Show, Folsom, CA – (Pete Ruff) There were 4-5 cars at this event, with 55-60 cars on display. It was very nice, a good show if you like to go and look at Corvettes. NEW BUSINESS Vice President, Events Coordinator: George Goolsby December

Christmas Parade, Placerville, CA – (George Goolsby
& Barbara Rogers) This will be the first
Sunday in December. We’ll line up at
Grocery Outlet on Broadway and Rick went shopping for raffle prizes Sunday and will finish up 11/15. If you have gifts for the party, get them to Jeff Nickles before the party so he can get them ready and set up for the party. George reminded Jim that the rest of the room fee is due the night of the party. There is also a $350.00 balance due to the band (The Favorites). Jim will bring the checkbook. General discussion about guests. If you are a single club member you can bring a guest for $10.00. If you are interested in bringing other guests the cost is $50.00 per guest. (Motion made, seconded and approved) Shaylynne will determine if we can extend invites to guests when she receives the final count. Final count is due to the caterer by 11/30. Shaylynne needs to know if you are going and will need your check for $10.00 per person made out to CPCC by 11/30. You can mail the check to her; check the roster for her address. If you have special drink requests let Shaylynne know as well. Spring

Angels FLOOR OPEN TO MEMBERS New Events/Runs Rick Samoian: A bunch of the “old guys” have been doing some mid-week runs. For those that are interested and retired, he will try to get the information out on the web next time. Vicki Braithwaite – Will host an Event Planning Session at her house some time in January. She will serve a big pot of spaghetti and everyone can bring an appetizer. She will have a date at the January meeting. She will also be doing the Napa Run as an annual event. Sponsorship: There was general discussion about sponsorship. Family Chevrolet has not come through with any sponsorship funds for 2006 or 2007. They keep making empty promises. Also, Corvette Care did not make any contributions for sponsorship. There was discussion about the quality of work at Corvette Care declining. Some members have been charged more than the quoted amount for repairs. The Bureau of Automotive repair cited them for billing without authorization. One member mentioned he did get a 10% discount and a cap and t-shirt when they found out he was a club member. Motion was made, seconded and approved to drop both Family Chevrolet and Corvette as sponsors and remove them from the website. George will check with John L. Sullivan to see if they are interested in sponsoring the club. There was also a suggestion to look at MSI for sponsorship. Shaylynne received a return email from the
