Call to Order: The meeting was called to order at 7:00 by the Club President Phil Slack

OLD BUSINESS

Minutes: Motion to approve the October 11, 2005 meeting minutes was seconded and

Approved.

Treasurer’s Report: Report given by Jim Poe. Deposits: $110.00 from last month’s 50/50 raffle, $30.00 in membership dues. Expenses: $750.00 check for 2005 Christmas party drinks/raffle prizes, $51.00 reimbursed to Barbara Collier for 7/4/2005 groceries, $108.00 to Barbara Collier for 7/4/2006 Party reservation for Sly Park area., $42.53 reimbursed to John Clemens for the Tahoe hospitality room.. The ending balance is $3,308.29.

Secretary: Shannon Anderson – nothing to report.

Clothing: Report given by Vicki Braithwaite – The end of this week or next orders from September should be ready. Anne Jones will be taking over responsibility for clothing.

Webmaster: Report given by Pete Ruff – The website is up to date for event photos. If you have any other event photos get them to Pete. There is a new car posted on the Web Page (Tom Krakker’s). The photo flips from front view to back view every few seconds. Pete will be archiving old photos older than October.

Historian: Keith Becky not present.

October 29: First Annual Debbie Amaral Memorial Scholarship Fundraiser – No members attended.

NEW BUSINESS

New Officers: Vote by ballot. All ballots will go to Phil Slack who will tally the votes and report at the next club meeting.

November 13, 2005 Mystery Brunch, hosted by George Goolsby & Barbara Rodgers. Meet at Bel Air in Cameron Park at 9:00 AM. Any members that would like to attend should email George tonight. Looks like 16 people will attend.

December 3, 2005 Just for Corvettes, Toy Run at Arco Arena (Harland Dains). Meet at Brookfield’s at 8:30 AM, we’ll depart at 9:00 AM.

December 4, 2005 Christmas Parade, Placerville (George Goolsby/Barbara Rodgers) The application has been submitted. We’ll meet at the Park & Ride on Missouri Flat Road at 11:00 AM. We will stage on Broadway near Grocery Outlet at 12:00. Bring an unwrapped toy ($10 value) and candy to toss to the kids. No dressing as Santa, it confuses the little ones. You can decorate your car. Capitol Corvettes may join us in the parade.

December 10, 2005 CPCC Christmas Party - (Davis/Hudgins/Groat) Get your money to Sylma Davis if you are attending the party, this needs to be paid by 11/23. Drink orders have been taken; you can bring your own drinks if you wish. The caterer is set up. If you would like to stay at the Best Western, 10 rooms are being held. You will need to call and make reservations. Bring Raffle prizes unwrapped. Last year the 50/50 Raffle was $400-$500. We will be auctioning a trip to Hawaii. Members from Bend Oregon may be able to attend.

FLOOR OPEN TO MEMBERS

New Events/runs: The run to Prim Nevada will be happening in March. Check the website for the details, the flyer will be posted.

Thanks to Pres. A suggestion was made to get a gift certificate for dinner for Phil and Shaylynne as a thank you.

Closing: Motion was made, seconded and approved to adjourn the meeting.

Raffle: 50/50 Raffle - $101 to the club, $100 to the winner, Shaylynne Slack

Other items raffled: Poker Chip Set (2): Ron Niemi and Harland Dains, Corvette Cap: Pete Ruff. Corvette Brochure: Bob Graham.
