A motion was made, seconded and approved to pay $108.00 deposit for Sly Park for the July 2007 picnic.

Secretary:                               Shannon Anderson – With so many new members it is becoming more difficult to make sure all names are captured for the minutes.  If your name is missed in the minutes, please email Shannon and she will correct it.  We will be going to a sign in sheet in the future to prevent this.

Occasionally, there are situations that occur with members (deaths, illnesses, etc…) and we would like to send flowers.  Could we give the President and Treasurer power to approve this expenditure for members without having to bring it to the club meeting?  Motion made, seconded and approved.

Clothing:                                 Anne Jones – Anne’s having problems with the clothing vendor – he is consistently inconsistent.  The quality of his work is good, but he is very hard to work with.  Anne will check into using another vendor and report back.  The cost for a set up fee could range between $180 and $200.

Webmaster:                            Not present to report. Pete’s on vacation.

Historian:                               Not present to report

Dunce Cap Award:                 More discussion around whether we should continue with this.  There has been several members’ state they won’t be caught dead wearing the hat.  Motion made, seconded and approved to abolish the Dunce Cap Award.

No attendance

Sept. 10, 2006                         Impromptu Ice House Run (Bob Naylor) – Bob reported

About 18 cars attended.  We drove Wentworth Springs Road to Stumpy Meadows.  The route is paved all the way now.  There was some livestock around, triple digits were achieved.  We arrived early at Ice House Resort for lunch, so they served great Bloody Marys and then a great lunch.  Some folks left after lunch and the rest of us went on the Big Hill Lookout.  Kudos to Bob for a great run!  We’ll do it again on 10/15 – Bob will organize it and send out an email.  He will send the email to Shannon to forward on as the website email isn’t working for him.
