MEETING MINUTES/August 12, 2008

Call to Order: The meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M. by Club President Dana Jones.

Minutes: Motion made, and seconded to approve the July 2008 minutes.

Treasurer’s Report: Jim Poe reported that the balance in the account is $2890.00

Secretary:

Clothing: Looking for someone to take Anne Jones place to be in charge of clothing.

Webmaster: Pete cleaned up the web site of non-payment members.

Old Business: *Sent get-well flowers to Larry Savio.

* July 18-19, 2008 – High Desert Weekend, (Rick & Karen Samoian) 1 car participated.

* July 19, 2008- Chariots at the Coliseum autocross (Larry and Margo Savio) there were three cars from club, but over 140cars at the event.

* July 26, 2008 – Cruising for Cops at El dorado Fairgrounds - (Harland Daines) Harland was not at meeting to report on the event.

New Business: (if no host will not be discussed)

· August 15-17, 2008 – Monterey Historic Races and other events (Larry & Margo Savio) only 1 car from this club signed up.

· August 17, 2008 – Moaning Caves Run (Mark & Barbara Jackson) check out web site for details.

· August -September, 2009 – Corvette Caravan to Bowling Green ( John Reese) not going with full group, check web site for further details.

· October 11-13, 2008 – Autumn Leaves Run (Rick Samoian & John Reese) multi day run with some people probably coming back after two days.

· December 6, 2008 – Christmas party will have a probable date change. Check web page for details.
