OLD BUSINESS

Minutes:                     Correction to minutes:  we will not be developing a new logo with the change of clothing vendors; we will be having the old logo re-done.

Motion to approve the minutes with the above change was seconded and approved.

Treasurer’s Report:  Report by Jim Poe.  We started the June with a balance of $3959.33.  $108.00 was deposited, $78.00 from June’s 50/50 Raffle and $30.00 in new membership fees.  Ending balance is $4067.33

Update on the amount spent for the 7/4 picnic will be made at the next club meeting.

Mary Graham suffered a heart attack.  The club sent her flowers at the cost of $53.09.  Expenditure was approved by all club members present.

Secretary:                   Shannon Anderson – nothing to report

Clothing:                     Update on Cost to move vendors, Vicki Braithwaite.  Vicki was not present.  This will be tabled until next month.

June 18:                      Show ‘n Shine, Sunrise Mall – no attendance.

June 25:                      Day run to Ice House (Stan Anderson) – 8 cars/14 club members/guests participated.  The run went from Placerville down Highway 193 out to Georgetown.  We stopped for a break at Stumpy Meadows and continued up towards Wrights Lake and back out to Highway 50 to lunch at Los Hermanos.  We did a little 4-wheeling; there was a small patch of gravel, snow on the ground.  It was a fun run!

July 4:                         Annual Pleasant Valley Parade & Sly Park Picnic – Great participation!  There was consensus to rent the same campsite next year.  This was a great time, it was not a long run and easy to put together.  Great food (and lots of it).  We may need to buddy up on the food next year.  If you would like to go next year you can choose to attend just the parade and not the picnic.  It is a fun event.  Thanks to everyone that helped organize it.  Special thanks to Keith, Barbara and Don!
