CAMERON PARK CORVETTE CLUB Meeting Minutes / July 11. 2006 Call to Order: The meeting was called

Svilich. OLD BUSINESS Minutes: Motion to approve the Treasurer’s Report: Report given by Jim
Poe: Deposits=$130.00 from last
month’s 50/50, new memberships totaling $150.
Expenses=$89.59 for Angel’s Secretary: Shannon
Anderson – nothing to report. Clothing: Report given by Anne
Jones-The catalog will be circulated during the meeting to save time. Please keep it
going. Fill out the form in the
catalog, write your check and give to Anne. Webmaster: Report given by Pete Ruff: The photos from Tahoe are on the web. Pete was given a CD from the event, which
he has loaded on the web. There are
three links to view the pictures that were on the CD. The 4th of July Picnic/Parade
and Historian: Report given by Keith
Becky – He has some old fashioned hard copy photos from the Mammoth Run. June 18 June 23-25 Corvettes at July 1 Impromptu
run to the Buckhorn – Winters, CA (George Goolsby & Barbara Rogers) – 4
couples went. They had a great
time. The Buckhorn is a great place
for dinner. July 4 July 7-9 Standing Reservations on Meeting nights: Barbara sent two email
messages with a list of local restaurants.
The only place that requires reservations is Papa Gianni’s. George reported that Sizzler will reserve a
section for club members and Applebee’s is willing to reserve the patio. Call Barbara a few days before the meeting
and she can set up your reservations – she is willing to do this until the
end of the year. Suggestion was made
to have Keith bring his BBQ before the meeting. He can do hamburgers and hot dogs for about
$2 or $3 per person; everyone can bring their own drinks and chocolate
(desserts). We will do this next
month. Dunce Cap Award: The award was given
and worn by Phil Slack at the Picnic for running over his radio. Next award will be given at the next
meeting. If you weren’t at the meeting
you’ll need to wait until next month to see who will be honored! NEW BUSINESS Vice President, Events Coordinator: George Goolsby July 21-22, 2006: All Corvette Gathering, August 25-27, 2006: Overnight Run – Mendocino, CA

– Barbara has a hotel menu; they can do trays for $7 - $10 per person. We can have the trays delivered to the
rooms and hang out on the balcony.
There is a skunk train that goes to Willits for Saturday if you are
interested. If you have ideas for activities,
let Barbara know. If you haven’t
already booked a room, you will not get an ocean view room, they are all
booked. There will be a parade
lap around Laguna Seca at this event, but no hot
laps. Anyone interested in hosting? Sept. 14-16, 2006: The Sunday Funnies Past
& Present, 38th Annual Tahoe Tour, Corvettes of Fresno at
Tahoe (Keith & Dawn Becky) – The Becky’s are going; let them know if you
are interested in going. October 7, 2006: Annual Show &
Shine/Fly-In at Cameron Park Airpark, CA – (Phil & Shaylynne
Slack)
– In September we’ll decide where and when to meet so we can drive in as a
group. Last year there were 22 cars
from the club, let’s see if we can beat that number. Cost is $20 in advance, $25 at the event. FLOOR OPEN TO MEMBERS New Events/Runs None Next Meeting: Adjournment: Motion was made,
seconded and approved to adjourn the meeting. RAFFLE 50/50: $105 goes to club and $105
