MEETING MINUTES/June 10, 2008

 

 

Call to Order:             The meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M. by Club President Dana Jones.

Minutes:                     Motion made, and seconded to approve the May 2008 minutes.

 

Treasurer’s Report:   Jim Poe reported that the balance in the account is $3,010.36

 

Secretary:                  

 

Clothing:                     Looking for someone to take Anne Jones place to be in charge of clothing.

 

Webmaster:                Pete had nothing new to report.

 

Old Business:             *Sent flowers to Vicki Braithwaite for the passing of her mother.  She presented club with a thank you note.

 

* May 18, 2008 – Angels Camp Picnic, (Bob & Mary Graham) 24 cars & 1 pickup turned out for a great event.  Thanks to George for the food.

* June 7 & 8, 2008- Vette Magic (Dana Jones)  Great time had by all.  1st place awards for Tom Krakker for his 1979, Jim and Annette for their 1996, and a 2nd for  Phil & Shaylynne for the 1964

                                   

 

 

 New Business:             (if no host will not be discussed)

 

·         June 19-22, 2008 – Corvettes at Lake Tahoe (Danna & Anne Jones), group should be leaving from Safeway parking lot in Cameron Park between 9 -9:30 on Friday.

·         July 4, 2008 – Fourth of July at Tahoe (George Goolsby and Barbara Rodgers) meet at Safeway at 9am, leave at 9:30.

·         July 18-19,2008 – High Desert Weekend (Rick & Karen Samoian)only 2 cars, leave on Thursday

·         July 19, 2008 – Chariots at the Coliseum(Larry & Margo Savio) check out web site

·         July 26, 2008 – Cruising for cops at El Dorado Fairgrounds(Harland Daines)early car registry, sponsored by Sac Law Enforcement

·         Aug-Sept 2009 – Corvette Caravan(John Reese) not going with national group, will have our own group
