Call to Order:                    The meeting was called to order at 7.00 by Club

Minutes:                            Motion made, and seconded to approve April 10th, 2007, meeting minutes.

                                   

Treasurer’s Report:          Jim Poe- We received $240.00 in membership dues, Total   50/50 raffle deposit was $105.00. Misc expenses were $334.54 with an ending balance of $4,062.77.

                                               

Secretary:                       Vicky Gray- Nothing to report.

                                     

Clothing:                        Anne Jones – 2 Catalogs are available for anyone interested in ordering clothing.  Name Tags are available for $10.00 each. See Anne for ordering.                          

Webmaster:                   Nothing to Report.

April 21st-22nd, 2007:  San Simeon Run – (George Goolsby) – We had a beautiful drive and great weather. There were 294 Corvettes participating in this event. Next year it will be limited to 200 Corvettes. It was a great time.

April 21, 2007:              Napa Poker Run – (Vickie Braithwaite) we had a really good time. There were approximately 14 cars participating in this event. It was a great turnout. Phil & Jack won the poker run with Phil winning $100.00 and Jack winning $50.00

May 20, 2007:                 Angels Camp BBQ- (Bob & Mary Graham) – We will meet at the Grahams at 10.00 am for Continental breakfast before heading to the park for Bar-bque, horseshoes, hula hoop, balloon toss, raffle, prizes and fun.

June 2-3rd, 2007:          Vette Magic Car Show- ( Dana Jones) – The car show is on Saturday June 2, at the Marriott hotel in Rancho Cordova, and all Corvette Drag racing on Sunday June 3, 2007 Sacramento Raceway.

June 8-10, 2007:            All Corvette Gathering – Sparks, Nv (George Goolsby) – Email George if you are interested in attending this event.

June 17th, 2007               Leddingtons Bar-B-Que (Bill & Cheryl Leddington) We will have music, pool table, slot machines, barbeque, and fun. Club voted provide the meat for this event. Sign up sheet will be available. More info to follow.

June 29 – July 1, 2007:  Corvettes at Tahoe-(Steve & Joanne Marsullo)- We will meet at 8.3.0 am at Safeway in Cameron Park on Friday June 29, 2007. We will stop at Strawberry Lodge for a break on the way.  Email Steve if your plan on attending this event.

July 4, 2007:                  July 4th Annual Picnic & Parade- (George Goolsby – Barbara Collier) The parade is in Pleasant Valley, Picnic at Sly Park. We will meet at the Park & ride at Hwy 50 & Missouri Flat rd to decorate our cars .Email George if you are plan on attending this event or if you have any questions.

July 13-15, 2007:           SOCA Corvette Weekend-(George Goolsby- Bob & Mary Graham)-This year’s event is centered around the Riverside Inn & Riverside Park in Grants Pass, Oregon.  We will meet at Starbucks in El Dorado Hills and plan on stopping at Granzellas in Williams for breakfast. July 19- 21, 2007:         Vette Fest – Boise Idaho –(Bob & Pam Naylor)This is  very fun event. More details as they become available.

 

July 29, 2007:                Big Trees Picnic – Arnold, Ca (George Goolsby) –We will have a Bar-b-que picnic lunch. More details to follow.

August 17-19, 2007:     Laguna Seca Monterey Historic Races ( Larry Savio)-    

                                      More details to follow.

August 18, 2007:           Black Hawk Museum- Danville, Ca (Dan & Laura Groat) We will meet  at MiMi’s restaurant in Folsom and stopping along the way for lunch. More details to follow.

August 24-26, 2007:     Infineon Raceway NASCAR-(Larry Savio) –Nascar road race.  More details to follow.

September 3, 2007:        Annual Labor Day Parade-Diamond Springs - No club host at this time. Details as they become available.

September 28-29, 2007: Summer End Gathering-All Corvettes- All Colors-Sparks, Nv – More details as they become available.

September 29, 2007       Annual Show & Shine- Cameron Park (Tom Learned) more details as they become available.

October 5-7, 2007:         Mendocino Little River Run-(Clemens & Colliers)- More details as they become available.

October 7, 2007:            Hope Valley Fall Leaves Run- (George Goolsby) - More details to follow.

December 2, 2007:         Placerville Christmas Parade-(George Goolsby) –Details as they become available.

December 8, 2007:         Annual CPCC Christmas Party- (Barbara Collier) - Club voted to have the Christmas party at Diamond Springs Memorial Firemans Hall this year.  More details to follow.

 

FLOOR OPEN TO MEMBERS

 

New Events/Runs          Carnival Cruise (Bill & Merrilee Doss) 4 day Cruise on Carnival Cruise Lines from San Diego to Cabo San Lucas. If you are interested in going Email Merrilee Doss. There is an event flyer available for this event.  The date is scheduled for Feb 28th 2008. This will be a fun cruise with a welcome aboard cocktail party, T-shirts, Margaritas. There will more details as they become available.
