Napa Poker Run scheduled for April 25th will start out at Vickie & Tom Braithwaite’s house in Folsom at 9:00 for coffee and donuts.  Leaving at 9:30 they will stop at the gas station in West Sacramento for the 2nd card and for anyone else who wants to join the group. There will be several more stops along the way, ending at V. Sattui Winery in St. Helena.  We will have lunch and determine the winner of the poker hand there.

Angels Camp Picnic on Sunday May 17th.  Kathy Reese reported the event will start at Starbucks on Latrobe Rd in El Dorado Hills at 10:30 with a leave time of 10:45.  Will caravan to the Raley’s in Jackson as a reststop and then arrive at the picnic approx 12:30.  Please bring a side dish, drinks and raffle prize.  We will have the same games we had last year along with many raffle prizes.  After much discussion, the club decided to charge $5.00 per car to offset the expense of the bar-b-que and to split the raffle money ½ for the club and ½ for the prize fund since our club treasury is low on funds.

Vette Magic on June 6th & 7th is now hosted by Tom Krakker.

Ice House Run on June 13th will start at the Park n Ride (Hwy 50 & Ponderosa Rd) across from Family Chevrolet reported host Bob Naylor.

Annual Picnic at Sly Park on the 4th of July.  This is to celebrate our club’s birthday.  Will start at 11:00.  Bring a side dish and your own drinks.  Barbara Collier will check with Keith to see if he can help with the Bar-b-que.  There probably will be a $5.00 per car charge to offset the food expense.  There will be plenty of time for people to also attend the fireworks show in Lake Tahoe.

South Lake Tahoe Fireworks show on July 4th.  George Goolsby reported that you need to book a room at the Lakeside Inn ASAP.

He has made dinner reservations at the Chart House and then you will return to the Inn to watch the fireworks.  Remember to bring chairs for the fireworks viewing and pre-dinner appetizers to be shared at the Inn.

Christmas Party scheduled for December 12th.  Barbara Collier checked the costs of several different venues.  The new Cameron Park Community Center wanted to charge $85 an hour plus $50 an hour for the use of the kitchen.   The Club voted to return to the Diamond Springs Fireman’s Hall where we had the party last year.  Barbara had reserved both locations so she will cancel the Cameron Park one.  She and Vickie Braithwaite are looking into a band or a DJ for the party.
