Barbara
Hudgins reported on this event. There
were 5 cars that went to Primm – Davis’, Hudgins’,
The weather wasn’t great but everyone had a really good time anyway. Maybe next year we can get more people to attend!
Thanks to Paul & Barbara for their help in getting this trip organized.
Jim Davis reported that this year we had 19 cars travel to San Simeon. Of course it rained, but there were no mishaps to report. Saturday’s raffle was the best one ever. Carmen Clemens won many, many things. Actually quite a few members won raffle prizes. In fact, Mary Graham won a $100.00 gift certificate to K&N which she has generously donated back to our Christmas Party raffle pool – Thanks, Mary!
On Sunday, most everyone headed back as a group on HWY 1, making a stop at the Artichoke stand in Castroville, then lunch, then everyone continued on they way.
This
was Jim & Sylma’s last year organizing this event as they may be moving to
Brown’s Valley. So, we all know what
that means, someone else will have to step up to the plate and get with Sylma
right away in order to get a block of rooms held in Gilroy and San Simeon. For anyone interested, please contact Jim or
Sylma as soon as possible.
THANKS
JIM & SYLMA – A JOB WELL DONE!
