seconded to approve Treasurer’s Report: Jim Poe - Received
$55.00 from last month’s 50/50 Raffle, $60.00 in Membership dues – ending
balance $4,222.79. Secretary: Shannon Anderson – Big thanks to Pete Ruff for keeping
me on my toes! Clothing: Anne was not present
to report. Web Master: Pete Ruff – 20 events
are covered on the events photo page. There
are 2 events for 2006; more pages will be added as Pete has more photos
submitted. 4 events for 2004 were
added in the last 2 weeks: Foster’s
Big Horn run, Fireman’s Muster Placerville, Vette Magic Car Show, San
Simeon. Pete can add more 2004 events,
but most are stale. The pages with
photos are set up with 4 columns, is this too wide without scrolling
across? If so, let Pete know. He can change it to 3 columns easily. Finally, there is information added to the
classified page to attract search engines:

Annual Gambler’s Classic Poker Run, Primm, NEW BUSINESS May 12-13, 2006 Gold Rush Car
Show – Oroville CA
–(Gil and Donna Alcaraz) This is a
3-day event, starts on Friday, events on Saturday and home on Sunday. The Best Value Motel has a few smoking
rooms left, there is great parking here and it is clean. If the Best Value is booked you may be able
to book a room at the Gold Country Casino.

31- Sacramento, CA (Dana Jones) – Dana was not present, but will have flyers at
the next meeting. This is a Car Show
on Saturday, Drags on Sunday. The
information is on the web. June 23-25, 2006 Corvettes at Lake Tahoe – Stateline, NV
(John Clemens) – There are about 50 spots left for this. It will fill quickly. Nolan Adams is one of
the main speakers. This is a good
show. Folks from Northern/Southern
California, July 7-9, 2006 High
Desert Corvettes Deschutes River Run, August 5-7, 2006 Mammoth Run,
Mammoth, CA (John & Kathy Reese) – This is a 2 or 3 day run, your choice. The third day is Monday, plan to go through
August 25-26, 2006 Overnight Run – Mendocino, CA (Barbara
Collier) – This is up to 15 couples.
Email Barbara if you are having problems making reservations. October 2006 Annual Show
& Shine/Fly-In at Cameron Park Airpark, CA – (Phil Slack) – No information on
this yet. This event lost the sponsor
and it is uncertain whether it will occur or not. If it goes, it should be on a Sunday. It’s normally a fun event with good
participation. FLOOR OPEN TO MEMBERS New Events/runs: Stan talked with Family
Chevrolet and they would like us to select a date for a show. This year they plan to clear the front area
for us. Consensus was to plan this for
June 10th. Stan will
follow-up with Family Chevrolet. Harland is getting married!!! Shaylynne met a woman in Primm
who sells Corvette “stuff” out of her car.
She works for Food Source and is willing to come up before our club
meeting so we can shop. She has
different sequined items, etc…
Shaylynne will have her come next month at Next Meeting Closing: Motion was made,
seconded and approved to adjourn the meeting at Raffle: $90.00 to the club and
$90.00 to the winner, Ron Niemi – Welcome back Ron & Sherry!
