Call to Order:                         The meeting was called to order at 7.00 by Club President Dana Jones.

OLD BUSINESS

Minutes:                                 Motion made, and seconded to approve March 12, 2007 meeting minutes.

Treasurer’s Report:              Jim Poe- No report at this time.

Secretary:                       Vicky Gray- Roster was circulated to sign in for club attendance..

Clothing:                                Anne Jones – 2 Catalogs are available for anyone interested in ordering clothing.  Name Tags with emblems will be available for ordering next month.  If you would like to order a name tag see Anne, price will be around $8-10 dollars each.

Webmaster:                           Report given by Dana Jones- Pete is doing a fantastic job as web master.  Thank You Pete.  There is extra room on the web for anyone interested in adding anything to the website.

March 17, 2007:                   Cache Creek Run – ( Steve & Joanne Marsullo) – This was a great run, there were 15 cars for this event with beautiful weather and scenic drive. Steve had funny maps printed for everyone. We had a buffet lunch at the casino. We had a few lucky winners too.

March 25, 2007:                   Daffodil Hill Run – (George Goolsby) George reported 22 cars showed for this event.  It was a beautiful run, the flowers were in bloom.  We had 44 people for lunch at the St. George Hotel.

March 29, 2007:                   Thunder Hill- (Larry & Margo Savio)- Larry reported there were 90-100 Corvettes on the track.   It was the biggest all Corvette turn out ever. Next event is the Altamont Speedway Challenge on May 13, 2007 All Corvette Auto-X Corvette only races. Larry will email club with coming events.

April 20-22, 2007:                San Simeon Run- (George Goolsby) – This is a 3 day event, starts on Friday. We will meet in Cameron Park. Email George if you are interested in attending this event.

April 21, 2007:                       Napa Valley Poker Run-(Vickie Braithwaite)- Meet at 9.00 am at the Braithwaites. Vickie will provide coffee and doughnuts. At this time we’ll draw the first card at vicki’s house, travel to Sacramento to pick up additional cars and draw for our 2nd card. We will have additional stops along the way to Napa and end up for a picnic at V. Sattui Winery in St. Helena.  The winery has free wine tasting and a great deli.  After lunch we will draw our last card.  Don’t forget to bring your chairs.

May 20, 2007:                      Angels Camp BBQ- (Bob & Mary Graham) – We will meet at the Grahams at 10.00 am for Continental breakfast before heading to the park for Bar-bque, horseshoes, hula hoop, balloon toss, raffle, prizes and fun.

June 2-3, 2007:                   Vette Magic Car Show- ( Dana Jones) – The car show is on Saturday June 2, at the Marriott hotel in Rancho Cordova, and all Corvette Drag racing on Sunday June 3.rd, 2007 Sacramento Raceway.

June 8-10, 2007:                  All Corvette Gathering – Sparks, Nv (George Goolsby) – Email George if you are interested in attending this event.

June 29 – July 1, 2007:       Corvettes at Tahoe-(Steve & Joanne Marsullo)- We will meet at 8.3.0 am at Safeway in Cameron Park on Friday June 29, 2007. We will stop at Strawberry Lodge for a break on the way.  Email Steve if your plan on attending this event.

July 4, 2007:                         July 4th Annual Picnic & Parade- (George Goolsby – Barbara Collier) The parade is in Pleasant Valley, Picnic at Sly Park.  Details to follow.

July 13-15, 2007:                SOCA Corvette Weekend-(George Goolsby- Bob & Mary Graham)-This year’s event is centered around the Riverside Inn & Riverside Park in Grants Pass, Oregon.  We will meet at Starbucks in El Dorado Hills.  Complete Details can be found on the events site.

July 19- 21, 2007:                Vette Fest – Boise Idaho – More details as they become available.

July 19- 21, 2007:               Checkerboard Gathering- Sparks, Nv (no club host at this time)  More details to follow.

July 29, 2007:                       Big Trees Picnic – Arnold, Ca (George Goolsby) –We will have a Bar-b-que picnic lunch. More details to follow.

August 24-26, 2007:           Infineon Raceway NASCAR-(Larry Savio) –Nascar road race.  More details to follow.

September 3, 2007:             Annual Labor Day Parade-Diamond Springs - No club host at this time. Details as they become available.

September 28-29, 2007:    Summer End Gathering-All Corvettes- All Colors-Sparks, Nv – More details as they become available.

October 5-7, 2007:              Mendocino Little River Run-(Clemens & Colliers)- More details as they become available.

October 7, 2007:                  Hope Valley Fall Leaves Run- (George Goolsby) - More details to follow.

October 7, 2007:                  Annual Show & Shine/Fly In- Cameron Park, Ca – More details to follow.

December 2, 2007:                 Placerville Christmas Parade-(George Goolsby) –Details as they become available.

December 8, 2007:              Annual CPCC Christmas Party- (Barbara Collier) - Club voted to have the Christmas party at Diamond Springs Memorial Firemans Hall this year.  More details to follow.

FLOOR OPEN TO MEMBERS

New Events/Runs                Bill & Cheryl Leddingtons Bar-B-Que is scheduled for June 17th 2007, at 1.00. more details to follow.

                                       Bill & Merrilee Doss talked with club members about going on a 4 day Corvette Cruise on Carnival Cruise Lines from San Diego. There are several members interested in going if you are interested in going contact Vickie Braithwaite or Merrilee Doss. The date is scheduled around Feb-March 2008.  We can also include other clubs as well. There will more details as they become available.

                                      Jim Lankford got his 2006 Z06 to 202 miles per hour in Oregon. The heads up display stopped at 186 mph. Congratulations Jim.
