MEETING MINUTES/April 8, 2008

Call to Order: The meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M. by Club President Dana Jones.

Minutes: Motion made, and seconded to approve the February 2008 minutes.

Treasurer’s Report: Jim Poe reported that the balance in the account is $2600.99

Secretary: Margo Savio, nothing to report.

Clothing: Looking for someone to take Anne Jones place to be in charge of clothing.

Webmaster: Pete had nothing new to report.

Old Business: * March 29, 2008 – Hooters of Sacramento. Larry Savio reported that they had over 150 cars at the event despite the overcast weather.

*Other events that had been scheduled for March were cancelled or postponed due to weather, etc.

New Business:

· April 12 – 13, 2008 Eureka Run (Skip & Carla Grube)

· April 24, 2008 Corvettes at Thunderhill (no hosts)

· April 26, 2008 – Napa Poker Run (Vicki & Tom Braithwaite)

· May 4, 2008 – Reno Lunch Run ( John & Kathy Reese)

· May 16-18, 2008 – Rolex Races at Laguna Seca ( John Reese)

· May 18, 2008 – Angles Camp Picnic (Bob & Mary Graham), bring prizes to next meeting.

· June 7 -8, 2008 – Vette Magic Car Show and Drag Races ( Dana & Anne Jones)

· June 19-22, 2008 – Corvettes at Lake Tahoe (Larry & Margo Savio), group should be leaving from Safeway parking lot in Cameron Park between 9 -9:30 on Friday.

FLOOR OPEN TO MEMBERS – no suggestions from anyone
