MEETING MINUTES/March 11, 2008

 

 

Call to Order:             The meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M. by Club President Dana Jones.

Minutes:                     Motion made, and seconded to approve the February 2008 minutes.

 

Treasurer’s Report:   Jim Poe reported that the balance in the account is $2507.68

 

Secretary:                   Margo Savio, nothing to report.

 

Clothing:                     Looking for someone to take Anne Jones place to be in charge of clothing.

 

Webmaster:                Pete had nothing new to report.

 

Old Business:             * February 16, 2008 Cache Creek Casino Run – Dana reported that it                   was a great run, lots of fun for everyone involved.

 New Business:

·         March 16, 2008 – Daffodil Hill Run (George Goolsby & Barbara Rodgers)

·         March 29, 2008 – Amador Wine Run (Mike & Barbara Jackson)

·         March 29, 2008 – Hooters of Sacramento Corvette Show (no hosts)

·         April 12 – 13, 2008 Eureka Run (Skip & Carla Grube) more information to follow

·         April 24, 2008 Corvettes at Thunderhill (no hosts)

·         April 26, 2008 – Napa Poker Run (Vicki & Tom Braithwaite) more information to follow

·         July 4, 2008 – Picnic has been called off.   It was decided that members of the club could meet at the Lakeside Inn at Southshore Tahoe to watch the fireworks.  See club schedule for information.

·         Still need host for many of the events.

·         Barbara Collier and Vicki Braithwaite are hosting the Christmas Party.  Club voted for Keith to do the cooking again this year.  Vicki to look for other possible locations for the party.

 

 

 

FLOOR OPEN TO MEMBERS – The Huntsman Club is going to hold a car show/fundraiser, but the club members voted that  we should not get involved with any political fundraisers
