Call to Order:                  The meeting was called to order at 7.00 by the club

Minutes:                        Motion to Approve January 9, 2007 meeting minutes was second and approved.

 

Treasurer’s Report:     Reported by Club President, Dana Jones- Club Balance $3383.01 

          

Secretary:                     Vicky Gray- Roster was circulated for club attendance.

 

Clothing:                       Anne Jones- Catalogs are available for anyone interested in ordering clothing.

 

Web Master:                 Pete Ruff - Corvettes for sale from various web solicitations, Club voted to not have  non- members ads/pictures posted on website

                                              NEW BUSINESS

 

                                      Vice President – Events Coordinator – Vicki Braithwaite

                            

1.     February 17th, 2007 – RPM Racing  Host:

2.     March 17th, 2007 – Cache Creek Run – (Steve & Joanne Marsullo) we will meet at 9am in the Folsom High School Parking lot.

3.     March 25th, 2007 – Daffodil Hill Run (George Goolsby) please email George if you plan on attending this event.

4.     April 21st-22nd, 2007 – Sam Simeon Run (George Goolsby) Please email George so he can make reservations. We will meet at Cameron Park or El Dorado Hills on Friday April 20th at 1.30 pm.

5.     April 21st, 2007 – Napa Poker Run – (Vicki Braithwaite) we will meet at Vicki Braithwaites house at 9 am, leaving at 9.30 am, we will stop in West Sacramento to meet others who do not wish to drive to Folsom and to draw Poker Run cards. We will draw cards along the way, ending up at Napa Winery for a picnic and poker run card draw.

6.     May 20th, 2007- Angels Camp BBQ- (Bob & Mary Graham)  - We will meet at Bob & Mary Graham for a continental breakfast, then head to the park for Bar-b-que, games, raffle, prizes and fun. Club will provide all food at the park Burgers, Shrimp and Brats. Any donations for prizes are appreciated. Flyers for this event will be at the March meeting.  

7.     June 2nd&3nd, 2007 – Vette Magic Car Show -Rancho Cordova (Dana Jones)

8.     June 8th-9th 2007 – All Corvette Gathering (Sparks, Nv) Rocky Pearson- more info at www.corvettecruzin.com

9.     June 29th & 30th, 2007 – Corvettes at Lake Tahoe (Steve & Joanne Marsullo) this event will be held at the Horizon Casino resort. This is a fun weekend event. Registration forms and more info at www.laketahoecorvetteclub.com

10. July 13th-15th,2007 - SOCA Corvette Weekend –Oregon ( George Goolsby- Bob & Mary Graham) – We will be staying at the Riverside Inn in Grants Pass, Or. If you plan on attending this event, you will need to make your reservations right away. This is a popular event and space fills up quickly.

11. July 19th-22nd,2007 – Boise, Id- More Info to follow

12. July 29th, 2007 – Big Trees Picnic (George Goolsby) we will have a barbeque lunch picnic. 

13. August 18th, 2007- Black Hawk Museum. Danville (Dan & Laura Groat) we will meet at Mimi’s in Folsom, and stop along the way for lunch, more details to follow.

14. September? 2007 , FT. Bragg/ Mendocino    (Barbra Collier)

15. September 28th-29th, 2007- Summer End Gathering. Sparks,Nv .

                            16. October 7th, 2007 – Hope Valley Run       

 

 

       FLOOR OPEN TO MEMBERS

 

Track Events Coordinator:      Larry Savio has volunteered to become our Track event coordinator, Thank You Larry.

 

Christmas Party Committee:   We are seeking volunteers to be on the Christmas    Party Committee for the 2007 year. If you are interested in participating,

Meeting Location:                  We have looked at several locations and will post them on the website. The March meeting will be at Steve’s Place Pizza.

 

Meeting adjournment:            Motion was made, seconded and approved to adjourn   the meeting.

RAFFLE 50/50:                      $100.00 to the club and $100.00 to Donna Campbell.
