Minutes: Motion
to approve the January 10, 2005
meeting minutes was seconded and approved.
Treasurer’s Report: Report given by Jim
Poe. Started the month with a balance
of $3, 163.00. The Club received
$555.00 in club memberships. Two checks were written for reimbursement:
$24.37 to Keith for photos and album and $75.84 to Pete Ruff for web hosting. The ending balance is $3792.79.
Secretary: Nothing to report.
Clothing: Report given by Anne Jones – We
are back with our old vendor Dick Hill.

–There is a Corvette-events.com page added to the links page. This web page has a map of the US you can select the state and a
list of Corvette events will display.
There are also some video clips placed out on the
web page, one from the Christmas Party and two from the Christmas Parade.

Gambler’s Classic Poker Run, Primm,
Nevada (Paul & Barbara Hudgins) the
flyer is on the web. Deadline for
registration is March 1st.
This is a good time. The
Hudgins will be leaving on Tuesday.
George Goolsby and Stan Anderson will be
leaving Thursday morning. Send an
email to George if you would like to cruise down with him.

8-9, 2006 26th
Annual San Simeon Tour, San Simeon CA – South Valley Corvettes - No attendance at
this event.
April 29, 2006 Napa Valley Picnic & Poker Run - Napa
CA (Vicki Braithwaite) –We did this a few
years ago. We’ll meet at the
Braithwaite’s house and can stop in Sacramento
to pick up more cruisers if you don’t want to drive to Folsom. Vicki contacted the events coordinator at
V. Sattui Winery in St. Helena
for a lunch stop. They offer free wine
tasting. That is where we will draw
our last card and can decide what to after lunch. There was a suggestion that Keith may want
to BBQ lunch there. Vicki will contact
Keith. Email Vicki if you plan on
going.
May 21, 2006 Picnic/Poker Run – Angels Camp (Bob
& Mary Graham) The Grahams were not present. This was a fun event last year; it will be a pot luck. More
information will be provided later.

(No Club Host) No attendance at this

23-25, 2006 Corvettes of Tahoe, Lake
Tahoe, NV (John Clemens) There is a
maximum of 250 cars for this event.
When John registered in January he was car 118. If you are going you
need to register soon. Accommodations are at Horizon Hotel $110.00 per night. There will be 2 poker runs, dinner on the
MS Dixie, lunch on Saturday, Car Show & Shine & more. Flyer is posted on the web.
July 4, 2006 Pleasant Valley 4th of
July parade & Club BBQ at Jenkinson
Lake (Barbara Collier) – This is
on a Tuesday. We have a nice area on
the Lake and may hire Keith to BBQ. There will be tri-tips & pot luck
dishes. We’ll need someone to host the
parade (George?). Last year we
gathered at the Missouri Flat
Park & ride to cruise over to
the parade.

(George Goolsby) The McCoy’s, Samoian’s,
Ruff’s and Goolsby/Rogers are attending. Bob Naylor has a friend in Bend
Oregon that is a great mechanic. If you have a C4 or C5 and would like a
tune-up, see Bob.

14-16, 2006 The Sunday Funnies Past
& Present, 38th Annual Tahoe Tour, Corvettes of Fresno
at Tahoe. There is no club host at
this time.
October
5-8, 2006 Corvette Roulette, Las
Vegas CA – Las Vegas
Corvettes – This is the first year for this event. The flyer is posted on the web site.
October 2006 Annual Show & Shine/Fly-In at
Cameron Park Airpark, CA – (Phil Slack) There is no date for this year. We are hoping it will be on a Sunday.

9, 2006 Annual CPCC Christmas
Party (Barbara Rodgers, George Goolsby, Shaylynne Slack, Keith Becky) The room at the Best Western was
$325 last year. They are remodeling
and the rent is increasing to $600. If
we can guarantee 10 rooms booked for that night, they will reduce the cost of
the room to $400. George will book the
room. Motion was made, seconded and
approved to get a check to George for $150 to reserve the room. George asked that someone from last year’s
committee meet with him. Shaylynne suggested looking into a band they heard at a
winery. She will check on this.
FLOOR OPEN TO MEMBERS
New Events/runs: There is a Vette
Magic event in June; a car show on Saturday and drag race the next day. Dana Jones will get the information. This is on the Corvette-events.com page.
Barbara Collier suggested an
overnight cruise to Mendocino in August.
More information will be provided later.
Vicki Braithwaite is planning a
BBQ at her house in the August. She
will get a date.
Green
Valley Church
is having a classic car show on Father’s day, June 18th. Stan Anderson was asked if the church could
use CPCC’s name on the flyer for this event. This is open to pretty much any year
car. The Camaro
Club may be participating as well.
This will be in the afternoon, after church services are over. Motion was made, seconded and approved to
allow the church to use the club name on the flyer.

Raffle: Bob
Graham was not present and he is the only member with tickets. Motion was made, seconded and approved to
forego the raffle this month and resume next month as usual.
