Call to Order:         The meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M. by Club President John Reese.

Minutes:                   Motion made by Jon Svilich and seconded by Rick Samoian to approve the January 12, 2010 minutes.

 

Treasurer:            Peggy Sue Croswhite reported $820.99 as the beginning balance with income of $968.00 and expenses of $60.58 making our ending balance $1,728.41.      

Secretary:               No report 

 

Clothing:                  Barbara Collier not present but John Reese reported we now have the 2010 catalog and will be obtaining the prices to include the cost of the embroidery.

 

Webmaster:            No report

 

Raffle Organizers:            No report

 

Club Historian:      No report

 

Old Business:         Jan 23rd Annual Planning Meeting held at the Braithwaite’s.  Attendance of 20 people bringing a lot of food for everyone to enjoy made the day very successful with a lot of events scheduled.  (See attachment at the end of the minutes.)  Rick Samoian thanked Vicki & Tom for hosting this event again.  Scroll down for the minutes.   

 

New Business:     Feb 20th Autorama at Cal Expo is being hosted by Bob Graham. Look on our website for latest information.

                                   

                                    Feb 27th Cameron Park Firefighters Crab Feed hosted by George Goolsby.  So far we have 17 members purchasing tickets for this event.  Contact George ASAP if you are planning to attend.

 

                                    Mar 7th lunch run to Greenhorn Creek Golf Course near Angels Camp.  Host Rick Samoian will be sending out more information by e-mail.

 

                                    Mar 14th Daffodil Hill Run with lunch at Union Hotel or Mel’s in Jackson.  This is a tentative plan.  An e-mail will be sent out by George Goolsby after the daffodils start to bloom.

 

                                    Mar 20th St. Patty’s Day dinner at the Collier’s.  George will be preparing corn beef and cabbage with potatoes.  There will be a charge of $10 per couple with any funds unused to go to the club treasury.

 

                                    April 10th run to Ironstone Vineyards near Murphy.  Hosted by Jan & Gary Leonard.  There will be wine tasting, a museum and a place to eat lunch.

                                               

                                    April 24th Napa Wine & Poker Run hosted by Tom & Vicki Braithwaite.  Starting the run at their house with a continental breakfast and then proceeding to West Sac for the first stop, then heading around Lake Berryessa to v. Sattui Winery in St. Helena for lunch.  Vicki will be sending out an e-mail in April with the latest info.

 

Floor Open to Members:

 

                             Vicki Braithwaite made a motion to have the Christmas Party at the Best Western with a DJ providing the music and Keith Becky catering the food.

                                    Motion passed.  It was also suggested that Vickie get confirmed room rates in writing.

 

Will Gilliland reported on a volunteer training day to be held at Infineon Raceway on Feb 20th.  More information on the website.
