MEETING MINUTES/JANUARY 8, 2008

Call to Order:             The meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M. by Club President Dana Jones.

Minutes:                     Motion made, and seconded to approve the December 2007 minutes.

Treasurer’s Report:   Jim Poe reported that the balance in the account is $1446.00

Secretary:                   Margo Savio, nothing to report.

Clothing:                     Looking for someone to take Anne Jones place to be in charge of clothing.

Webmaster:                Pete has updated the website with current events.  He will be removing the event section at the bottom of the page that give a recap of the events.

Old Business:

·         Placerville Christmas Parade:  George Goolsby reported that the event was a success.  We were represented by 18 cars and ran out of candy.

·         Christmas Party:  Vickie Braithwaite reported the event was very successful.  The decorating committee did a great job and everyone was happy with the food, the bar, and the band.  They could use more help with the cleanup next year.

·         Foster’s Big Horn Run will be hosted by John & Kathy Reese on January 12, 2008

 New Business:          

·         Club Planning Event on January 20, 2008 at Vickie Braithwaite’s house.

·         Monterey Weekend run to be held on January 26-27, 2008 and hosted by John & Patty McCoy.

·         The Laughlin Run at the Palms Resort, February 8-10, 2008,has been cancelled.

·         NCM Cruise to Alaska (Sheri Clarke), May 30, 2008

·         Vette Magic Car Show and Drags ( currently no host), June 7-8. 2008

·         All Corvette Gathering in Sparks, (currently no host), June 13-14, 2008

·         Corvettes at Tahoe (Larry Savio), June 19 – 21, 2008
